Well I promised you pictures so here they are.
I didn’t upload ALL fo them because I took a fair share of about 200+ shots? So these are jus the few photos that I took during the trip. Some of the shots would be from Raymond. I’ll explain along the way. Well, the trip wasn’t exactly a succesfull one mainly because of the weather change. On the boat ride over to the island, we experienced a storm. I repeat, a storm. The sea was choppy and people started vommiting (I shan’t mention names) . The boat was cold as ever and to avoid vommiting some people tried to sleep it off. Before leaving the jetty, we were given a chance to see 3/4 of a rainbow?

Taken in the boat
And just as the boat left, I went out to take this real gloomy shot? Well ok, we weren’t on a boat, it was a ferry. So yeah. People claimed that they could see one end of the rainbow while others both ends. I was just finding a spot where I could take a shot because there were ALOT of people rushing out to take photos of the rainbow.

Taken from the outside

Well anyway, we arrived safely in Langkawi. Boarded this van thingy our supervisor – Bernard rented and headed off to our resort? Well, I forgot to mention who went for this trip. Bernard, Vincent (real nice guy), Sam (Vincent’s wife), Nick (New collegue and real funny dude), and the 6 of us – Raymond, Edmund, Yong Han, Jiayi, MunYee and me. That makes 10 of us. I shall upload a photo of the van another time. Well, so we reached our beach resort and unpacked and stuff. We were about to go enjoy our nice beach when it started to pour abit. Some of us wanted to recover from the rough ride from the ferry and we just slacked in the room. We went out when the rain stopped and we did have fun. The waves were HUGE. Well not THAT huge, just huge because we never saw this kinda wave in Singapore. Well not me anyway. We bought waterproof cameras to take pictures of our water fun. Its yet to be developed so once its done I’ll upload that as well. Pushing, pulling, swimming, jumping all in the waves. We buried Edmund in sand and somehow a sandfight started? I don’t know. I was busy taking pictures. We went out at night to have a nice nice dinner with a 2 hr wait for the egg dish.

So after dinner, we decided to like walk along the streets? There were a few shops around our place so we decided to check it out, do some shopping.. stuff like that. But I didn’t find anything interesting, so I got nothing. But I did take some shots along the way. Especially of people goofing around!

Nick and Yong Hang looksl like they’re girls. My oh my. But it was funny. Seeing all of them posing like this. (: Things to do outside a shop while others shop – take pictures! But there’s only one.

Well it started to rain abit so we headed back to our place. We just lazed around, played dai dee for abit, planned for the next day, stuff like that. Vincent lost in dai dee and I dared him to go down (his room was on the 2nd level with a balcony) and call out to his wife and sing the MOST romantic song he can think of romantically. Well he did it of course after much persuasion.. but it was sweet that he actually did it. It was fun seeing him doing something like that. I hope Sam was touched! Well here’s a picture of the beach at night. Looks a tad weird but, yeah I quite like it.

The next day Bernard suggested going for UnderWater World. It was 38 RM and from the outside we didn’t think it was rather worth it. But we still got a chance to see what was inside. (:

So we (the 6 of us) just shopped around that area, walking into DFS and such like that. Chocolates, alcohol, perfumes were all super cheap!

So then anyway after that we headed to ride the cable car but on the way we stopped by this place where it was like a port for yachts? Similar to Keppel Bay in Singapore. We stopped there for a pit stop and took pictures before heading up to take the cable car.

It started pouring and the cable car station didn’t open. We didn’t want to waste our trip to that location, we started looking around for things to do. We found a place where they had elephant feeding and rides. Riding in the rain on an elephant for 70RM was a bit too expensive. So we just kept to feeding the elephant for 10RM. It was quite nice, being upclose to a huge giant anima

It didn’t stink or anything but it was real cute. Bernard wanted to be exceptionally close to it for a photo but the elephant swayed its trunk ALMOST hitting him (Bernard).

We moved on then to feeding rabbits and deers. Rabbits were so so cute. Once they knew you got food, they’ll swarm to you like nobody’s business.

Deers as well!

Bernard poured some food on Raymond while he bent down to feed the rabbits. And the deer literally ate of his back. !_!

Well the rabbits were too cute for me NOT to pick up. So I did pick it up. It was light, fluffy and cute.

OK. SO anyway after all our fun, we went to Langkawi’s town, Kuah to have dinner.

We started to shop around. I only took one picture cause the shop assitant didn’t let me take anymore.

We walked around after dinner and then to home. We all slept quite early i might add and the next day we were quite determined to go to the beach. Thank God that the weather was quite good in the morning. Raymond, nick and I headed down beach to check out if they offered water activities and they did! BUT they didn’t open so early. SO ah wells, we went to the beach anyway, enjoying the waves and all. Yong Han lost and found his specs twice. So darn lucky. Good thing Edmund found it the first time round but then he lost it again.. But everything’s alright and Yong Han has his 4 year old specs again. All beach shots were taken with the underwater camera. So I’ll upload those pictures once their developed. So anyway, after our morning swim, we washed up, checked out and shopped around till about 4+ ?

We then boarded the ferry and headed back. I slept and woke up at about 8? Went up to the top of the ferry with the others and took pictures. (:

Ok so that concludes our trip to Langkawi. I’ll update on monday again!
Cheers~!
