Well, I’m up at 6.05 am. No idea how I got up but I just did and I hate myself for it. Now its like I can’t go back to sleep? CGO briefing in a few hours I think, gotta recheck the timing. I dunch know what ta blog about. Lets talk about what was spoken in church.

Andrew was talking about the end church. It was part of his serious of “The Art of building”. He was talking about the poor, that we nowadays we don’t know how to measure how poor is someone. Makes sense? So anyway he came to talk about this guy called Milton Friedman. He was an “American Nobel Laureate economist and public intellectual.” SO anyway that was besides the point.

Milton made 4 points on how we, as people, spend our money. So here it goes.

  1. You spend your own money on yourself.
  2. You spend someone else’s money on yourself.
  3. You spend your own money on someone else.
  4. You spend someone else’s money on someone else.

So he made a point where when you spend your own money on yourself, you would be VERY careful on how you spend it and you would make sure you would get the most out of it. If you spend your own money on someone else, you would be very careful on the amount as you won’t spend too much but on the other hand, you might not care what that person is getting as what you would spend for your own. And you might spend someone else’s money on yourself like taking the money you deserve from the government. Like spending your boss’s money on yourself. You are very careful on what you would pick for yourself on picking the best but you won’t care of how much will it cost. And the last one I didn’t really get.

I thought these were true to A certain extend. When I do spend my own money on someone else, can I say depending on who’s the person then I’ll think about such stuff? And from the part where I spend someone else’s money on myself its actually quite true. But I mean I do feel paiseh about it but on the other hand who cares.
